Tampa’s University Mall Announces Major Redevelopment Plans

Tampa, Fla. — Tampa’s University Mall will undergo a redevelopment that will include significant changes to the mall’s western wing.

Renovations will involve the transformation of approximately 246,500 square feet of retail space, new landscaping, water features, and seating areas, as well as the addition of three new anchor stores and two new freestanding restaurants on outparcels along Fowler Avenue. Renovations will begin in early 2016. University Mall is currently home to tenants including Macy’s, Sears, Burlington Coat Factory, Dillard’s and Studio Movie Grill.
