Philadelphia Uniqlo Flagship Store Sells for $24.5 Million

Philadelphia — The building was formerly occupied by The Art Institute of Philadelphia.

Colliers International and Newmark Smith Mack have arranged the sale of 1608 Chestnut Street, home to a flagship store of retailer Uniqlo, to TIAA-CREF for $24.5 million. The building was formerly occupied by The Art Institute of Philadelphia. It reopened in October as the new flagship location for Uniqlo. The transaction was arranged by the team of Michael Barmash, Peter Block and Stephen Algermissen, along with Taylor King of Newmark Smith Mack-King of Prussia.
