RCG Ventures Acquires Four Shopping Centers, Sells Two Others

Atlanta – The acquired centers are in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee; the two that were sold are in North Carolina and Alabama.

RCG Ventures Fund III has acquired Sebring Square in Sebring, Florida, Walden Woods in Plant City, Florida, Cypress Mill Square in Brunswick, Georgia, and Chapman Square in Knoxville, Tennessee. RCG Ventures Fund II has sold Pepperell Corners in Opelika, Alabama, and RCG Ventures Fund has sold Lakeside Plaza in Waynesville, North Carolina.

Sebring Square is a 175,937-square-foot shopping center anchored by Winn Dixie, Pet Supermarket and Office Max. Other national and regional tenants in the area include Walmart Supercenter, Lowe’s Home Improvement, The Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Michael’s, Belk, Marshall’s and Ross. The seller was represented by Frank Meyrath Jr. of Bull Realty, and RCG was represented in-house by Scott Tarbet.

Walden Woods is a 72,950-square-foot neighborhood shopping center that is anchored by Dollar Tree, Aaron’s and Dollar General and features additional national and regional tenants such as Hibbett Sporting Goods, Beef O’Brady’s and Anytime Fitness. The property is adjacent to a Walmart Supercenter and positioned at a major retail intersection. The seller was represented by Casey Rosen of CBRE, and RCG was represented in-house by Scott Tarbet 

Cypress Mill Square is a 260,516-square foot grocery anchored shopping center anchored by Winn Dixie and Big Lots and has a mix of other national, regional and local tenants including Family Dollar, CosmoProf, Jackson Hewitt and others. The center is in proximate location to Lowe’s, Target, Ross, PetSmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Walmart Neighborhood Market, which is currently under construction. The seller was represented by Ryan McArdle of Blanchard & Calhoun, and RCG was represented in-house by Scott Tarbet.

Chapman Square Shopping Center is anchored by Kroger and is proximate to national and regional retailers such as Big Lots, Family Dollar, Aaron Rents, Dollar General and Goodwill. The seller was represented by Paul Gaither of CBRE, and RCG was represented in-house by Matt Klump.

RCG was represented by Drew Fleming and Mark Joines of Cassidy Turley in the sale of Pepperell Corners and by Joe Montgomery and Tony D’Ambrosio of Colliers International in the sale of Lakeside Plaza.
