Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT Buys Its First Shopping Center in Connecticut

Willimantic, Conn. — Willimantic Plaza is anchored by BJ’s Wholesale Club.

Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT II Inc. has acquired Willimantic Plaza, adding its first property in Connecticut to its portfolio. Willimantic Plaza is a 128,766-square-foot grocery store-anchored shopping center located in Willimantic, a suburb of Hartford. Willimantic Plaza is anchored by BJ’s Wholesale Club. Other national and regional tenants at the center include Family Dollar, Subway, Supercuts and Sally Beauty Supply.
