Katy Boardwalk District Developers Unveil Plans for Mixed-Use Lakefront Development

Katy, Texas — Katy Boardwalk District developers have unveiled plans for a lakefront entertainment hub in Katy, Texas.

The 169-acre site is located 29 miles west of Houston and will consist of 155,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a 43,000-square-foot conference center hotel, 319-unit multifamily community and 60,000 square feet of office space. Gensler is designing the retail phase, which is scheduled to break ground in late 2019. The property’s residential units are scheduled for completion in 2020, and the conference center is expected for delivery in 2021.
