JLL Arranges Sales of Two Louisiana Shopping Centers

Baton Rouge, La. and Cut Off, La. — Managing Directors Kris Cooper and Margaret Caldwell led the JLL retail investment sales team on these transactions.

JLL has arranged the sale of two shopping centers in Louisiana. Blue Ridge Real Estate Co. sold Coursey Commons Shopping Center in Baton Rouge to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. for $10.9 million. The 67,775-square-foot center is anchored by a Walmart Neighborhood Market and includes a Sally Beauty Supply, AT&T Mobility, UPS Store and Weight Watchers. JLL also arranged the sale of Tarpon Heights Shopping Center in Cut Off on behalf of Equity One to Mississippi-based Southeast Retail Properties II LLC. The 56,605-square-foot shopping center is anchored by Stage and Dollar General. Managing Directors Kris Cooper and Margaret Caldwell led the JLL retail investment sales team on these transactions.
