Tulsa, Okla. — The Owasso location will be the eighth Academy Sports store developed by GBT since 2011.
GBT Realty Corp. has signed a third Academy Sports & Outdoor for the Tulsa area in the suburb of Owasso. GBT acquired the 5.8-acre site on December 30 for $2 million. Construction is underway on the $10 million development. The Owasso location will be the eighth Academy Sports store developed by GBT since 2011. The planned Academy Sports building follows the retailer’s standard 62,000-square-foot prototype. The store is expected to open in August.
