GBT Acquires Metro Atlanta Site to Redevelop for $1.65 Million

Atlanta — GBT Realty Corp. has acquired a 1.7-acre site in East Cobb County, a suburb of Atlanta, for $1.65 million.

Currently the site of a 10,240-square-foot building occupied by Chuck E. Cheese’s, the firm plans to redevelop the parcel with demolition this spring. GBT acquired the site from Empress Theatres Inc., a Nebraska corporation.

The Chuck E. Cheese’s site is one of the last remaining parcels in a retail hotbed that includes names such as Target, a new Dick’s Sporting Goods, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and more household names in retail.
