Faris Lee Arranges $21 Million Sale of Retail Center in Southern California

Torrance, Calif. — Faris Lee Investments has arranged the $21 million sale of Southwood Village, a 66,958-square-foot shopping center in Torrance, a city in southern California.

Richard Chichester and Donald MacLellan of Faris Lee arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller, BIG Shopping Center USA. Triwell Properties represented the undisclosed buyer, a South Bay-based private investor, in the 1031 exchange. At the time of sale, Southwood Village was 97 percent leased to tenants such as Dollar Tree, ACE Hardware, Goodwill and Chevron.
