Epic Real Estate Partners Acquires Jacaranda Plaza in Metro Miami for $29.3M

Plantation, Fla. — Epic Real Estate Partners has acquired Jacaranda Plaza, a 173,044-square-foot shopping center located in the Miami suburb of Plantation, for $29.3 million.

Daniel Finkle, Luis Castillo and Nat Scarmazzi of HFF represented the seller, Ram Realty Services, in the transaction. Paul Stasaitis and Adam Herrin of HFF secured $19.9 million in acquisition financing for Epic Real Estate. The five-year, fixed-rate loan was placed through BankUnited.

Originally developed in 1974, the property went through a renovation in 2013 that included façade enhancements, fresh landscaping and roof replacement. The center was 86 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Publix, Stein Mart, Planet Fitness, Dollar Tree, Regions Bank, T-Mobile, GNC and Gamestop.
