Edge Partnership Sells Kirkwood Mall

Bismarck, N.D. — The 850,000-square-foot Kirkwood Mall is the second largest mall in North Dakota.

Bismarck, N.D. — A partnership between affiliates of Edge Principal Advisors LLC, Radiant Partners and a private investor has sold the Kirkwood Mall to CBL & Associates Properties Inc. Developed in 1971, Kirkwood Mall includes 850,000 square feet of retail and is the second largest mall in North Dakota. The sales per square foot at the mall increased by more than 15 percent in 2012. Tenants at the property include Target Corp., JC Penney Co. Inc. and Chico’s FAS Inc. The center was originally acquired by Edge through its first discretionary fund, Edge Principal Investments LP. Edge is currently deploying its second investment fund, Edge Principal Investments II LP, which has approximately $300 million of committed equity.
