ECHO Realty Acquires Eight Grocery-Anchored Centers for $125 Million

Pittsburgh — Pittsburgh-based ECHO Realty has acquired a portfolio of eight Harris Teeter and Publix-anchored shopping centers located in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida for $125 million.

The portfolio includes four Harris Teeter-anchored properties in North Carolina, including Beau Rivage Marketplace in Wilmington, The Shoppes at Highland Creek in Charlotte, The Village at Byers Creek in Mooresville and a free-standing Harris Teeter on Croatan Highway in Kill Devil Hills; two Publix-anchored properties in Florida, including Partin Village in Kissimmee and Shoppes at Price Crossing in North Port; one free-standing Harris Teeter on Baltic Avenue in Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Publix-anchored Riverwood Town Center in Evans, Georgia.

The acquisition adds over 500,000 square feet to ECHO’s shopping center inventory.
