Candytopia Opens Doors in Atlanta

by Alex Tostado

Atlanta — Candytopia has opened its doors at Lenox Square in Atlanta’s Buckhead district.

The art exhibit features creatures, paintings and sculptures made entirely of candy. Open through June 2 in Atlanta, Candytopia offers 10 rooms filled with interactive experiences ranging from swings and marshmallow pits to photo-ops and, of course, candy. Co-founder and candy artist Jackie Sorkin says Candytopia is not just for children, however. “We’ve really created magic for all ages — everyone is welcome here from the youngest child to the grumpiest grandpa. No matter who you are, you will have a great time,” Sorkin said in a December interview with Shopping Center Business. Tickets cost $28 per adult and $20 for children ages 4 to 12. They can be purchased at https://www.showclix.com/event/candytopiaatl.
