West Des Moines, Iowa — Baceline purchased the 142,600-square-foot neighborhood shopping center in 2013.

Denver-based Baceline Investments has begun a multi-million dollar renovation this spring of Clocktower Square, located in the prominent University Avenue retail corridor in West Des Moines. The firm purchased the 142,600-square-foot neighborhood shopping center in 2013. Local boutique brokerage Ferguson Commercial Real Estate Services is the exclusive listing agent for all inquiries. Baceline’s investment will fund capital improvements intended to increase store visibility, improve traffic flow and revitalize the center. Discussions are ongoing with a variety of national soft goods tenants, as well as popular, local boutiques and some first-to-market retailers, that will add to the tenant mix that currently includes TJ Maxx, Starbucks, Sally Beauty Supply, Merle Norman, UPS, Ohana Steakhouse and Waterfront Seafood Market. Renovations began in March and will incorporate modern façades, signage updates, parking lot improvements and landscaping.
