Armada Hoffler to Develop Grocery-Anchored Center in Williamsburg, Va.

Williamsburg, Va. – Armada Hoffler has signed a 20-year lease for approximately 53,000 square feet with Harris Teeter.

Williamsburg, Va. – Armada Hoffler Properties will redevelop the Williamsburg Outlet Mall into a shopping center anchored by a Harris Teeter grocery. The first phase, consisting of approximately 88,000 square feet, will be completed in early 2016. Armada Hoffler has signed a 20-year lease for approximately 53,000 square feet with Harris Teeter. The company expects to begin construction on phase one in the third quarter of 2014. Shops and restaurants will occupy the other 35,000 square feet. According to Armada Hoffler, Phase II represents an opportunity to develop another 42,000 square feet in the future.
