The sale was a 1031 property exchange for Realty Center Associates Inc. of New York City. Gerald Berman represented Advance Realty Co. North Main Plaza was built in 1999 and is anchored by a 33,000-square-foot Food Lion supermarket.
The subsequent purchase was of the Freshway Market Center in Byron, Ga. Freshway Market Center was built in 2008 and is anchored by a 34,200-square-foot Freshway/Piggly Wiggly supermarket. Ace Hardware also occupies 12,500 square feet in the center. Mark Schwarz, Esq. represented Realty Center Associates in the transactions.
