Halpern Begins Work on New Georgia Retail Development

Dawsonville, Ga. — Halpern purchased the property earlier this year, and will begin site work in the first quarter of 2015.

Halpern Enterprises is starting work on a new 29-acre retail development to be called Dawson Forest, which will be located 45 minutes north of Atlanta in a high-traffic area on Ga. 400 across from the North Georgia Premium Outlets. Plans for the development include a 45,600-square-foot grocery anchor, a 20,900-square-foot junior anchor, 31,900 square feet of other shops and restaurants, and six outparcels. Halpern purchased the property earlier this year, and will begin site work in the first quarter of 2015. The company plans to deliver outparcels and shop spaces by the fourth quarter of next year, with opening in early 2016.
