Construction Underway on $80 Million The Point

ThePointNLLos Angeles — Federal Realty has begun construction on The Point, an $80 million shopping destination set to open in 2015 in South Bay. The Point, located at the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard, will transform a vacant lot into a 115,000-square-foot center.

The open-air project will feature more than 25 tenants with leasing already underway. The company is targeting regional tenants, chef-driven restaurants and emerging national brands to occupy space at the property. The Point will also include a children's play area, seating with fire pits, an outdoor grassy area for gatherings.

Architects Orange designed the project and Snyder Langston is the general contractor.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
