San Francisco — Jamestown LP has purchased 799 Market Street, a 142,092-square-foot mixed-use development in downtown San Francisco, for a reported $93.5 million. The Class A urban property is located where the city's renowned Union Square shopping district meets the South of Market technology office corridor. The eight-story property includes five floors of office space and 55,000 square feet of ground-level retail. The retail space is currently 100 percent occupied by a Ross Dress for Less flagship store. The project was built in 1968 and renovated in 1986. The office space is 89 percent leased. Eastdil Secured represented the seller, a partnership between Urban Realty and Commonfund, and helped Jamestown secure financing for the transaction.
