Hunter Storm To Develop Retail Center in San Jose

Hunter Storm Properties will build a 320,000-square-foot center on a site the company recently acquired in a JV with PCCP.San Jose, Calif. — San Francisco-based PCCP and Cupertino, Calif.-based Hunter Storm Properties have formed a joint venture to acquire a 30-acre infill land parcel at Cottle Rd. and Highway 85 in San Jose.

The JV sold 5 acres of the land that will be used to develop a 220-unit multifamily project. Hunter Storm Properties plans to develop a 320,000-square-foot retail project on the remaining 25 acres, with construction set to begin at the end of 2012. No tenants were announced for the center, which is known as Village Oaks.

Hunter Storm Properties is the development division of Hunter Properties, Inc.
