Benning To Build Publix in S.C.

benningpublxWEBBenning Construction will build a 49,000-square-foot store for Publix at Cross Creek Shopping Center in Indian Land, S.C.Indian Land, S.C. — Atlanta-based Benning Construction Co. has been hired to build a new 49,000-square-foot Publix supermarket at Cross Creek Shopping Center in Indian Land, a suburb of Charlotte, N.C. The store will anchor the center, located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 521 and Doby's Bridge Rd. Charlotte-based York Development Group is the center's developer. Phase I of the center, which contains 30,000 square feet of inline retail in addition to the Publix, will open in the fall.
