Disney Investment Arranges Sale of DFW Shopping Centers for $35 Million

Mansfield Pointe webMansfield Pointe in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex was developed in 2008 by Connected Development Services.Flower Mound and Mansfield, Texas – Disney Investment Group has arranged the sale of two shopping centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for approximately $35 million. An undisclosed private buyer acquired the 19,333-square-foot Cross Timbers Village shopping center in Flower Mound, located 30 miles north of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Cross Timbers Plaza is shadow-anchored by a Tom Thumb location. David Disney and Adam Crockett represented the seller, an entity controlled by Dallas-based Direct Development and Thackeray Partners.

Disney Investment also brokered the sale of Mansfield Pointe in Mansfield by an entity controlled by Dallas-based The Retail Connection and Plano-based Granite Properties. Inland Real Estate Acquisitions purchased the 148,529-square-foot center that is shadow-anchored by SuperTarget and Home Depot, and tenanted by Sports Authority, Bed Bath & Beyond, Party City, Verizon and more. Mansfield Pointe is currently 97 percent occupied. It was developed in 2008 by Connected Development Services, an affiliate of The Retail Connection. Alan Shor and Chad Bradshaw of The Retail Connection and Paul Bennett of Granite Properties handled the negotiations on behalf of the seller, while Matthew Tice of Inland Real Estate Acquisitions facilitated the purchase on behalf of the buyer.
