Jamestown Adds Two Restaurants to Bay Area Shopping Center

Alameda, Calif. – Jamestown Properties has added two new restaurants at the South Shore Center, a 594,000-square-foot open-air center on Alameda Island, 15 miles east of San Francisco. Bagel Shop Café signed a 10-year lease for the 2,323-square-foot space located next to Old Navy and will open this summer. The Best Lil' Porkhouse will open its third location at South Shore Center this year. The restaurant signed a 10-year lease for 3,639 square feet of space near Loard's Ice Cream.

SRS Real Estate Partners' broker Bob Quigley handled the lease transaction for the Bagel Street Café. Julie Taylor, senior vice president of Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank and associate Stephen Rusher represented Jamestown in the transaction.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
