Short-Pump-Main-Entrance2 webLas Vegas and Richmond, Va. – Forest City will renovate and expand two shopping centers located in Las Vegas and Richmond, Va. The Galleria at Sunset in Las Vegas is receiving a $24.1 million, 30,000-square-foot expansion, consisting of six new restaurants, new valet, a 12,000-square-foot outdoor plaza and a new main entrance. Three of the restaurants will open spring 2015, with the build-out's expansion completing this year. This is the mall's second expansion in its 18-year history.

Short Pump Town Center in Richmond, Va., will add 15 new retailers and restaurants and receive a multimillion-dollar renovation. Retailers that will be added include Michael Kors, Oakley, Vans, Free People, Madewell and more, totaling more than 62,000 square feet. Renovations will include new gathering spaces, redesigned fountains, additional landscaping, a feature fireplace, enhanced directional signage and updated restrooms. They will also include a new pedestrian bridge that spans across the main plaza, canopies over walkways and a new centrally located feature elevator. Short Pump Town Center's anchors include Nordstrom, Macy's, Dillard's and Dick's Sporting Goods.

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
